/the project

Simple2u was born with the purpose of the democratizing the insurance market, bringing the concept of on demand insurance. Moreover, the company’s long-term objective is to be the property and casualty insurer of the MAG Group, a company focused in life insurance.


Because of that, their customers would have their protection in a cheaper way, in addition to being personalized according to their routine.


On demand offers flexibility and facility that fits with the customer’s lifestyle, being able to obtain a monthly subscription or a period insurance.

Furthermore, the Simple2u’s business plan targeted both B2C and B2B2C models, offering insurance solutions directly to end customers through our own sales channels or via partner companies, integrating these solutions into their payment checkouts as an embedded service.

/my responsabilities

At Simple2u, I held the role of principal product designer, working closely with the CEO of Simple2u and reporting directly to the Head of Design for the MAG Group.


I played a key role in taking Simple2u from concept to launch (0 to 1), guiding the entire process from initial ideation to market entry. This included designing our mobile app for end customers (B2C) and developing MVPs for partner integrations (B2B2C), ensuring seamless embedded insurance experiences.


To understand the user needs, I implemented methodologies such as the System Usability Scale (SUS), CSD and prioritization matrices, user journey mapping, and disaster checks. These tools were essential in maintaining high-quality design standards and delivering impactful solutions.

I conducted user interviews and usability tests with target customers, achieving a strong SUS score of 88. In addition, I performed QA testing for the app to ensure functionality and reliability across platforms.


To support marketing efforts, I tracked landing page performance metrics using Google Analytics and A/B tests to identify opportunities for optimization. I also contributed to the creation of Simple2u’s design system, establishing consistency and scalability for future growth.


Finally, I managed two design interns, mentoring them in developing landing pages and creating commercial presentations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
